About the role
Are you passionate about turning data into actionable insights?
We're looking for two forward-thinking Business Intelligence Officers to join our dynamic Business Intelligence team at a pivotal time. With a suite of exciting projects, including the North East Regional Improvement and Innovation Alliance (RIIA) collection, North East Fostering Pathfinder programme, and the development of the cutting-edge data platform, you'll play a key role in shaping how we harness data across the organisation.
This is a unique opportunity to work with modern BI tools, collaborate with Social Care, Early Help, Youth Justice, Education and SEND teams, and help drive strategic decision-making through innovative data solutions.
We are recruiting to two posts, one permanent and one fixed term (12 months). Please indicate if you have a preference in your application. If you're ready to make an impact and grow your career in a fast-evolving data landscape within Children’s Services, we’d love to hear from you!
We want you to apply if you:
* Are passionate about improving the lives of children and families.
* Bring experience from Children’s Services or similar settings, with an understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by the local government.
* Communicate insights confidently, tailoring messages to a range of stakeholders from frontline teams to senior leaders.
* Enjoy working with data and have hands-on experience using reporting tools like SAP Web Intelligence (WEBI) or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
* Create compelling reports and dashboards using data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
* Are excited by innovation, and keen to support Together for Children’s digital transformation journey - including the launch of a new Data Platform and adoption of Microsoft Fabric.
