About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Early Years Preschool Teacher to join our pre-school, supporting children aged 3–5 during their foundational learning years. You'll create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment where children feel safe to explore, play, and grow — all within the guidance of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Some Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate, play-based learning that aligns with the EYFS
• Create a safe, inclusive environment that supports emotional well-being and encourages independence
• Promote children's personal, social, and emotional development through consistent routines and positive relationships
• Use observations and formative assessments to track progress and inform next steps
• Work in partnership with families to share learning journeys, celebrate milestones, and address concerns
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and high-quality early years provision
• Implement early support strategies for children with SEND, ensuring every child can thrive
• Uphold the highest standards of Safeguarding and child protection, following all statutory guidance and school policies
Required Qualifications
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or EYPF required
• Strong working knowledge of the EYFS Statutory Framework and its practical application
• Understanding of Development Matters and how to support children's progress across all areas of learning
• Up-to-date training in Safeguarding and child protection
• Enhanced DBS clearance (cost will be met by Employer)
• Desirable: SEND training, or experience with early intervention strategies
