Our client is a leading construction specialist delivering complex projects within mission‑critical environments, with a particular focus on Hyperscale Data Centres across the UK and Europe. Their portfolio also includes Life Sciences, Aviation, High‑Value Manufacturing, and Critical Logistics-but Data Centres are at the core of their rapid growth.
They are now seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (HSE) Advisor to support high‑performing project teams on major Data Centre builds in London Docklands.
Key Responsibilities
Champion and implement the company's EHS policies across fast‑paced Data Centre construction environments
Provide expert guidance on all health, safety, and environmental matters to project teams and subcontractors
Draft, review, and maintain robust EHS documentation tailored to high‑tech, high‑risk facilities
Conduct EHS site inspections, compliance audits, and produce detailed reports
Carry out risk assessments and ensure all incidents, near-misses, and accidents are thoroughly investigated
Identify training needs and deliver targeted EHS training on Data Centre‑specific risks and protocols
Drive subcontractor compliance and promote a culture of safety excellence across all project phases
Job Requirements
Third-level qualification in EHS or a related discipline
Experience working on large‑scale commercial or high‑tech construction projects-Data Centres strongly preferred
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple project demands simultaneously
Conscientious, detail‑driven, and committed to maintaining the highest safety standards
Self‑starter with the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels
Full, clean driving licence (advantageous)
Excellent communication and reporting skills
