Our client is looking for an immediate, temporary Management Accountant to assist them for 6 months. You will be responsible for the following duties:
1. Deliver insightful analysis to support decision-making by senior leadership.
2. Manage and execute the end-to-end month-end process, including finalising all journals, reconciliations, and closing books.
3. Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
4. Lead and implement process improvement initiatives to optimise efficiency in financial and operational workflows.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes.
6. Develop and maintain accurate forecasting models for cash flow and financial performance.
7. Build detailed cash flow statements and provide proactive recommendations to support liquidity and financial strategies.
8. Prepare and post general ledger journals, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
9. Ensure journals comply with GAAP or IFRS standards, as applicable.
10. Support treasury functions by managing cash balances, funding requirements, and banking relationships.
11. Oversee payment runs and ensure optimal cash allocation across the group.
12. Assist with FP&A tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
13. Provide financial insights to support long-term planning and strategy development.
Profile:
The successful candidate will ideally be fully qualified (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA); however, candidates qualified by experience will also be considered. Experience with Netsuite is preferred, but familiarity with similar large ERP systems will suffice.
You must be available immediately or within one week to be considered for this role.

Salary & Benefits:
The temporary Management Accountant role offers a daily rate of approximately £350 - £400, depending on experience.
