Job Summary

Imagine working in a team of dedicated and friendly HR Advisors where we all share the same values and passion for delivering an outstanding service through collaborative working with NNUH's managers. We're seeking an exceptional and experienced HR Professional to join us and it's an exciting opportunity for the right person! The HR Operations team at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NNUH), provides an HR advisory service to line managers across a full spectrum of HR and employment matters across the hospital. We are proud to provide an HR service that supports staff to deliver exemplary care for every patient. If this inspires you and you share our values, we really want you to join our team.

Main duties of the job

The role involves providing HR advice to line managers on a wide range of matters through the application of Trust policies, interpretation of UK employment law and best practices across all levels of staff. You can expect to be managing a caseload of employee relations cases, primarily focusing on attendance management and probationary support. You will be highly professional, a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and problem‑solving skills. Ideally you will have experience working in a contact centre environment as you will be expected to have the ability to autonomously deliver positive outcomes and prioritise competing demands with a complex and challenging workload. You will play a key role in championing the NNUH People Promise and our PRIDE values. Whilst this role can be worked on a hybrid basis, there is an expectation that the team attend work at the HR Operations office in the Norwich city centre, and applicants must be available to attend the main hospital site at short notice (sometimes within the same working day). Please only apply if you are able to attend in Norwich or across Norfolk at short notice. Previous applicants need not apply. The personal statement should reflect your experience and motivation in your own words. We will not accept AI generated personal statements which do not accurately reflect an individual's experience or talent. Interviews will be held onsite on 03 and 04 December 2025.
