up to £35000 per annum Location : Horsham Working hours : Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 16:00 PM (flexi start and finish) Our client is a well-established and respected electrical repair workshop serving a diverse range of high-precision industries, including Aerospace, Defence and marine engineering, currently seeking to recruit Mechanical Technician to work for a very well establish business based in Horsham. The appropriate candidate will be responsible for disassembling, repairing, assembling, and testing mechanical components and will have pneumatic and hydraulics work experience. Responsibilities: Disassemble mechanical components to assess damage and identify repair requirements. Determine appropriate materials and methods to be used during the repair process. Perform repairs according to approved Repair Instructions and Component Maintenance Manuals Conduct functional testing of components, with a focus on hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Reassemble components after repair or overhaul, ensuring compliance with specifications. Maintain and report operational data daily, weekly, and monthly as required. Manage the calibration process for tools and equipment in accordance with quality standards Requirements: Proven hands-on experience with hydraulic systems and components. Familiarity with pneumatic systems and testing protocols. Solid understanding of mechanical repairs, material selection, and calibration processes. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
