ASC Teaching Assistant – South Shore, Blackpool (FY4)

Salary: £85–£95 per day (dependent on experience)
Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ASC Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school located in South Shore, Blackpool (FY4). This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and additional learning needs.
Role Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASC.
* Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies.
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure inclusive learning.
* Promote positive social and emotional development.
* Support pupils in managing transitions and sensory needs throughout the school day.
Requirements:
* Previous experience supporting children with ASC or other special educational needs.
* A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
* Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
