Purpose of the role
The Head of Sales – UK & Ireland is responsible for leading Camira’s commercial strategy and sales performance across the region, driving sustainable revenue growth while strengthening Camira’s position as the preferred textile partner within the contract interiors market.
Working closely with key partners, the role will focus on expanding Camira’s addressable market.
This position plays a critical role in delivering Camira’s growth ambitions by combining strategic leadership, strong customer engagement, and disciplined commercial execution.
The day to day
* To adhere to the Camira Code of Conduct and comply with all relevant quality, environmental, health & safety, data protection, and corporate legislative requirements
* Lead and execute the UK & Ireland commercial strategy, aligned with Camira’s broader business and growth objectives.
* Drive sustainable revenue growth and profitable market expansion across the region.
* Identify and develop new opportunities.
* Ensure Camira maintains and strengthens its market-leading position within the contract interiors sector.
Key Customer Partnerships
* Build and develop strategic partnerships, ensuring Camira remains a trusted innovation and design partner.
* Develop structured key account plans with clear growth objectives and regular engagement with senior stakeholders.
* Work collaboratively with customers to identify opportunities for product integration, joint development and market expansion.
* Maintain a strong presence in the market, representing Camira at senior customer and industry levels.
Specification & A&D Engagement
* Strengthen Camira’s specification strategy by deepening engagement with architects, designers and specifiers.
* Ensure Camira is positioned as a preferred textile partner within the design community.
* Work closely with marketing and showroom teams to enhance specification opportunities and market visibility.
* Support the development of initiatives that make Camira products easy to specify and simple to sell.
Sales Leadership & Team Development
* Lead and develop a high-performing UK & Ireland sales organisation, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
* Provide coaching, guidance and support to the sales team to maximise individual and collective performance.
* Ensure clear territory ownership, role clarity and strong alignment with Camira’s commercial priorities.
* Encourage knowledge sharing and cross-team collaboration to strengthen customer engagement across the region.
Performance Management & Commercial Discipline
* Establish a strong commercial operating rhythm, including regular pipeline reviews, forecasting and performance tracking.
* Monitor and manage sales performance, margins and profitability to ensure sustainable growth.
* Implement clear KPIs and performance metrics to support transparency and accountability.
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure efficient execution and delivery of commercial commitments.
Market Insight & Strategic Input
* Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitor activity and customer needs.
* Provide strategic insights to support product development, marketing initiatives and broader commercial planning.
* Represent the voice of the customer internally, helping ensure Camira’s offering remains relevant and competitive.
