We are seeking an organised, confident, and adaptable ICT Cover Supervisor to join a supportive secondary school. This is an exciting opportunity to work with students, encourage their engagement in ICT About the Role: As an ICT Cover Supervisor, you’ll supervise classes across KS3 and KS4, ensuring pupils remain focused on their learning and follow the set lesson plans. While you won’t be expected to plan lessons, your role will be to manage the classroom, provide assistance with ICT tasks, and create a positive and productive learning environment. Role Responsibilities: Supervising ICT classes and ensuring students remain engaged in their work Following lesson plans and resources provided by teaching staff Supporting students with ICT tasks, troubleshooting basic issues where needed Managing behaviour in line with school policies Encouraging independent learning and positive attitudes towards ICT Providing feedback to teachers about pupil progress and behaviour Role Requirements: Experience working with young people, ideally in a secondary school environment Strong ICT skills and confidence using a range of software and technology Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to maintain a calm and positive approach in a classroom setting A proactive attitude and ability to adapt quickly to different classes and situations A DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one before starting If you’re enthusiastic about ICT and want to make a positive difference in the classroom, we’d love to hear from you.
