About the Role
As a Paraplanning Associate, you'll support our advisers by preparing compliant, clear, and personalised advice documentation for our clients. You'll focus on producing suitability reports, completing income sustainability checks, and ensuring every recommendation aligns with both regulatory standards and our company values. This role is a fantastic step for someone early in their paraplanning journey who wants to grow in a supportive and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
* Draft client-focused suitability letters for:
* Annual Reviews & Fund Switches
* Drawdown Reviews
* Mortgage Recommendations
* Disinvestment Advice
* Perform income sustainability calculations and document assumptions clearly
* Prepare case submissions for Business Assurance and liaise to resolve any queries
* Maintain accurate records using Salesforce,, and internal systems
* Ensure every document meets compliance and regulatory expectations
* Keep up to date with guidance from SJP and FCA regulations
* Collaborate with advisers and the wider paraplanning team to deliver an excellent client experience
Requirements
What We're Looking For
* Some experience in a financial planning, paraplanning, or adviser support role
* An interest in building technical knowledge of pensions, investments, and mortgages
* Excellent written communication and strong attention to detail
* Confidence working with systems like Salesforce and Microsoft Office
* A proactive learner with strong organisational skills
* Team-oriented and able to balance quality and efficiency under pressure
