Job Title: Formulation Scientist - Liquid Nutrition
Salary: £35-45,000 (Flexibility for the right candidate)
Location: Hampshire - hybrid options available
Type: Monday-Friday; 12-month FTC; Full time hours. Part time also considered

RussellTaylor Group have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced chemist with a strong background in liquid nutritional supplement formulation to join a well-established manufacturing business for a 12-month FTC. The role involves developing and scaling up formulations from concept through to commercial manufacture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting innovation projects.
Responsibilities
* Develop and optimise liquid nutritional formulations from lab scale to full production.
* Lead stability, compatibility, and shelf-life testing.
* Assess raw materials, liaise with suppliers, and track industry trends.
* Present products and concepts to customers; support new business opportunities.
* Provide technical guidance on scale-up, regulatory compliance, and process improvements.
* Mentor and help to support a junior team member.
Qualifications
* Educated to degree level in Nutrition Science, Food Science, or related discipline.
* Previous industry-based experience in liquid supplement formulation.
* Strong knowledge of UK/EU food legislation and regulatory requirements.
* Proven experience scaling up formulations to manufacture.
* Strong communication and organisational skills; customer-facing experience preferred.
