Private Family Solicitor – Established Regional Firm
Bolton Office
Salary up to £70,000 DOE
I am working with a well-established regional law firm looking to appoint a Private Family Solicitor to join its busy and supportive team in Bolton.
The firm has a strong presence across the North West with multiple offices and a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality, client-focused legal services. You will be joining a friendly and collaborative family department with a steady flow of work and strong internal support.
The Opportunity
This is a varied Private Family role offering the opportunity to manage your own caseload across a broad range of matters, including:
* Divorce and financial remedy
* Private children matters
* Domestic violence matters
* A mix of privately funded and Legal Aid work
You will have the opportunity to conduct your own advocacy and handle matters from instruction through to resolution, with support and guidance available from an experienced team.
This role offers strong exposure to a broad client base and would suit someone looking to develop their career within a stable and well-respected regional firm.
About You
The firm is seeking a Solicitor with experience in private family law who is confident managing their own caseload.
You will demonstrate:
* Experience handling private family matters
* Knowledge of Legal Aid and ideally experience using CCMS
* Ability and willingness to conduct advocacy
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Excellent communication and client care skills
* A team-oriented and professional approach
* A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is required due to occasional travel between offices and courts.
