Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Electrician to join our Projects team. This role will involve working on a wide range of lighting and electrical projects across the retail, industrial, commercial, and government sectors.
Youll be responsible for LED lighting installations, electrical works, testing, and inspections, while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer care.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled electrician who enjoys working on varied projects, can work flexibly (including nights and away from home), and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out LED lighting installations and electrical works to a high standard.
* Work closely with the Project Manager, Lighting Project team, and subcontractors to achieve project deadlines.
* Work from electrical drawings including installation, circuit, and schematic diagrams.
* Deliver a quality first-time installation with minimal rework.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation at all times.
* Complete all required project documentation accurately and on time.
* Take responsibility for the company vehicle and materials assigned.
* Undertake additional duties as instructed by the Project Manager.
What Were Looking For
Essential:
* Fully qualified in 18th Edition IEE Regulations (2383-18).
* Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
* Ability to work nights and stay away from home (Mon–Fri).
* Comfortable working at heights (up to 3m) and lifting weights up to 25kg.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to prioritise workload, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Desirable (training provided if not held):
* 2391-52 Test & Inspection qualification.
* SSSTS Accreditation.
* Knowledge of EV charging units.
* IPAF and/or PASMA certification.
