Responsibilities:
1. Lead shift operations to ensure safe, compliant, and on-time production in line with EHS and Quality standards
2. Monitor daily activities (logs, BPRs, training, work orders) to ensure accuracy and compliance
3. Plan and coordinate shift activities, including maintenance, changeovers, and resource allocation
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Maintenance, QA, QCL) to support production schedules
5. Drive continuous improvement through problem-solving, Gemba walks, and team engagement
6. Lead troubleshooting of plant issues and escalate when required
7. Ensure effective communication across shifts and with site leadership
8. Manage deviations, incidents, and support initial investigations
9. Coach, develop, and performance-manage the operations team, including training and development plans
10. Support workforce planning, including shift cover, absence management, and contractor oversight
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
11. Minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent
12. Experience/knowledge of production areas
13. Effective time management and co-ordination skills
14. Previous demonstration of desired behaviours
Additional Information:
15. Rotating shift: 4 consecutive working days followed by 6 days off
16. Banked hours: Extra hours may be accumulated and used for additional time off or schedule adjustments
