Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Robotics Software Engineer. The Robotics Software Engineer will be responsible for developing software for robotic systems, creating algorithms to improve robot performance, and conducting hardware/software integration. This role is located in Oxford and allows for flexible remote work. These devices are made for real world, real problems, real customers and benefits for all. We are are for-profit company but with strong ethics and willingness to share, open source and work with the community.
Qualifications
We are mainly looking for robotics software engineers with 3 years of industry experience or more, but if you are very passionate about this role and willing to learn please also apply.
* Excited about robots are software deployed in real world problems
* Likes to write code
* Comfortable and experienced in ROS 2 or similar framework
* Willingness to self organise and self motivate to reach project goals
* Comfortable in Linux based OS, networking, remote access
* Willingness to host a robot at remote location in case of remote work or be very comfortable at remote deployment and testing
