What You Will Be Doing
As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Truck Technician you will be responsible for:
Carrying out major and minor repairs on HGVs, trailers and commercial vehicles to DVSA and manufacturer standards
Completing servicing, inspections and planned maintenance as an experienced HGV Mechanic
Supporting breakdown repairs when required
Maintaining accurate service records and documentation throughout
Keeping the workshop safe, clean and well-organised at all times

What You Will Need
To be considered as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Truck Technician you will need:
Proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Truck Technician within a commercial vehicle environment
Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
Ability to identify worn or faulty components to DVSA standards
Full UK driving licence
Diagnostics and electrical experience (desirable)
