Are you the right person for the job?
You must have previous experience working in a general accountancy practice and have the following:
* ACCA/ACA/AAT or Qualified by experience
* Good knowledge of accounts preparation and personal taxation
* Be comfortable managing workloads, client deadlines and working relatively unsupervised
* Great communication, forward-thinking and can work independently
What will your role look like?
Duties
You will work with a varied portfolio of SMEs, limited companies, contractors, sole traders and partnerships. Day to day duties will include:
* Preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with UK FRS 105 and FRS 102
* Preparation of corporation tax returns
* Preparation and submission of VAT returns
* Preparation and submission of personal tax return
* Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients
* Management Accounting
