Hays Education are working with secondary schools across Derby and the surrounding areas. One of our schools is looking to recruit a passionate and dedicated Design & Technology Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive teaching environment and make a real impact in the classroom.
Your new role
You will be delivering engaging and creative DT lessons across KS3 and KS4, inspiring students to develop practical skills and a love for the subject. This is a full-time, long-term position starting in January until the end of the academic year.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. Specialism in Design & Technology
3. Experience teaching at KS3/KS4 level
4. Strong classroom management skills
5. Amitment to raising achievement and delivering high-quality teaching
