What We’re Looking For
Professional Qualifications and Continuous Development
* You may hold or be working toward a recognised qualification in risk, assurance or project/programme management (e.g. APM, Risk Certificate, MoR, MSP, PRINCE2).
* We value a strong commitment to ongoing learning—whether formal, informal, or self-directed.
Experience In Risk And Assurance
* You’ve worked in risk, assurance or governance within complex programme or project environments.
* Familiarity with public sector governance frameworks and methodologies like RAIIDD is a bonus—but not essential.
Role Responsibilities
* Shape how risk and assurance are delivered across environmental programmes. Lead the development and implementation of practices that align with governance frameworks, corporate standards, and external requirements—delivering with confidence and clarity.
* Drive continuous improvement by using performance insights to support change, strengthen compliance, and guide structured reporting, audits, and assurance reviews.
* Act as a trusted advisor, working closely with governance boards and project teams to provide expert guidance, training, and support to embed a culture of risk awareness, assurance, and delivery excellence.
This is a role that goes beyond technical duties; it offers an opportunity to influence how major programmes are delivered and to help teams navigate complexity with confidence and purpose.
