Position overview
As an Account Director at Mediahub, you will be at the forefront of client interaction, responsible for understanding client needs, developing tailored media strategies, utilizing Mediahub tools and planning processes (IGNITE), and ensuring flawless campaign execution. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client objectives, manage budgets effectively, and maintain high client satisfaction while delivering impactful media solutions.
This is a new role working across 2-3 international clients. The role is heavily planning-focused and involves client leadership. Here is an overview of three clients:
* Royal Caribbean: We are extending our relationship with Celebrity Cruises and Silversea Cruises to include a third brand, focusing on brand building and demand generation for their cruises, primarily in the UK and Nordics, partnering with their US digital team.
* Retail brand: A new client in the retail sector (confidential at this stage), with planning and buying responsibilities in the UK and overseeing the EMEA region, especially France and Germany, working closely with our US-based global team.
* Oura Ring: A client of Mediahub US for a year, with recent campaigns and plans to grow brand awareness for their eCommerce store and retail partners.
Your responsibilities will include:
Media Planning, Strategy & Execution
* Responding to briefs, implementing campaigns, and managing reporting.
* Using the IGNITE planning process in response to client briefs.
* Reviewing all key documents before client delivery.
* Evaluating media proposals and negotiating for value and efficiency.
* Encouraging a challenging mindset within teams for creative media plans.
* Applying Mediabrands Data, Tools, and Technology in planning.
Client Service
* Leading day-to-day client communication and nurturing relationships.
* Presenting virtually and in person, responding promptly to questions and concerns.
* Leading status calls and ensuring follow-up on actions.
* Modeling excellent client management for junior team members.
* Maintaining strong relationships with media partners.
Commercial
* Understanding and managing the commercial agreements and charges.
* Identifying opportunities to increase revenue.
* Supporting review of commercial arrangements.
* Ensuring accurate invoicing and reconciliation processes.
* Mentoring team members and supporting career development.
* Promoting agency culture and living Mediahub’s values daily.
Desired Skills and Experience
* Planning experience across channels including TV, Press, and Digital.
* Experience in UK and European markets is preferred.
* Challenger mindset and excellent client service skills.
* Agile approach and ability to manage a team and workload effectively.
