We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need. As a Clinician, you will play a vital role in the assessment process. This position requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The job entails assessing people with medical conditions that prevent them from driving in the conventional manner, those with learning difficulties, and those with memory problems. The assessment team comprises of a driving instructor and clinician and you will be assessing fitness to drive.
Responsibilities
* Conduct cognitive testing using MoCA and Rookwood Battery
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with organisational policies.
* Stay informed about best practises and participate in ongoing professional development.
Skills
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
* Empathy and understanding of diverse backgrounds and experiences of clients.
* Experience with electronic health record systems is advantageous but not essential.
