The school are looking for a dedicated and experienced Year 2 teacher to work with them full time, 5 days a week, from 8:30 till 3:30, starting from after Easter. The role is until the end of the academic year, but there is a potential for it to be longer. There are already schemes of work in place, resources for lessons are provided and a team for you to collaborate with.
In order to be a successful candidate:
1. You must be a Qualified Teacher, who holds a QTS.
2. You must have experience teaching in a primary school.
3. ECTs are wee to apply, but the role is not an ECT role.
4. Good knowledge of KS2 curriculum
5. Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
6. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
7. Develop and deliver lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of Year 2 students, fostering their intellectual, social, and emotional growth.
8. Monitor student progress, assess their strengths and areas for improvement and provide feedback.
9. Implement behaviour management strategies that are positive and effective
