Senior Jewellery Designer - 12 Month Contract

We are looking for a Senior Designer on Jewellery & Sunglasses to join the COS design team on a temporary 12 month contract. You will lead the creative direction of the category, delivering premium, modern accessories that complement the COS womenswear & menswear collection and reflect our brand values of functionality, timelessness, and quality.
Employment type: Part‑time (3 days per week) in London Head Office with flexibility to work hybrid. We also consider freelance contracts.
Key Responsibilities
* Design jewelry and sunglasses collections from concept to completion, aligned with COS’ seasonal vision and customer expectations.
* Build a considered and commercial assortment that contributes to a complete, layered wardrobe.
* Research trends, materials, and customer insights to inform innovative and sustainable product development.
* Ensure your category has a clear identity within the womenswear & menswear assortment, and drive its evolution seasonally.
* Work collaboratively with buying, development, and wider design teams to ensure consistency, quality, and timely execution.
* Provide high level of awareness and knowledge of current and future trends to enhance design quality of the department.
Qualifications
* Significant experience designing jewelry and sunglasses, ideally within a premium or luxury brand.
* Proficient in product fitting with advanced technical knowledge of jewelry design and construction.
* Excellent eye for proportion, detail, and finish.
* Confident team player and communicator, comfortable in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
* Passion for sustainable design and innovation.
* Genuine interest in the COS brand.

This is a part‑time, temporary 12‑month contract based at our Head Office in London. Applicants must be able to start in December.
