This is a Hybrid role, working from our Cardiff office 3 days per week. You’ll be required to be office based more when running training sessions.

What You’ll Be Doing As the Senior Operational Excellence Trainer, you will play a key role in supporting our Collections and Specialist Support (Vulnerable Customer)teams professional growth and development. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating various learning initiatives aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of our workforce. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about learning and are dedicated to creating an environment that fosters continuous improvement.

* Develop and maintain comprehensive and fit-for-purpose onboarding materials and resources to facilitate the integration of new joiners into their roles and the company culture.
* Design, develop, and deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and learning activities to address identified skill gaps and promote professional development.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
* Develop and update a competency maintenance framework with an annual re-accreditation process.
* Work in partnership with the management team to scope, document and manage personal development plans and formal personal improvement plans.
* Represent the Training & Competency team internally to help assess individual and departmental performance and opportunities to improve.
* At least 3 years of experience within a learning and development, training coordination, or a similar role.
* Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training evaluation techniques.
* Ideally worked within a Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulated environment with a good understanding of relevant regulations, laws and ethical standards.
* Proven ability in a busy contact centre/Operations environment.
* An experienced coach, has developed and mentored others.
* Experience with leadership development, able to build and support ongoing leadership team growth.

Interview Process

* First stage: 30 minute intro and values call with Talent Partner (Video call)
* Second stage: 60 minutes with Team Manager, will include a presentation (more details to follow) (In Person)
* Final stage: 30 minute overall assessment with Head of Department (Video Call)
