Salary: £50,000 - 75,000 per year Requirements: Strong SQL and analytical capability Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues Experience with data integrity, validation, and reconciling discrepancies across data sources Ability to work with evolving data schemas and refine reporting logic accordingly Experience working closely with developers to improve data quality and reporting outputs Understanding of or exposure to building or contributing to a reporting framework or data warehouse layer Confidence working with senior stakeholders such as CEO, CFO, COO, and Sales Directors Ability to operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Interest in the technical side of data while staying close to the business Experience in a role that sits between Data Analyst and Data Engineer is highly desirable Responsibilities: Own and improve the reporting landscape as we move from legacy SSRS tools into Power BI Build modern, scalable, interactive reporting solutions Shape how Power BI is used across the business Work directly with senior stakeholders to translate requirements and challenge thinking Help drive better data-led decisions across the organisation Rebuild and validate reporting logic against the new schema Investigate and resolve data discrepancies Work with our Development team to improve data quality and reporting outputs Manage data flows and how data is structured Help evolve our data platform in Azure and Fabric Technologies: Azure Data Warehouse ERP Power BI SQL Cloud Fabric More: We are a scaling tech company going through a major data transformation, with recently centralised data in a new ERP system and an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond standard reporting into a more technical and impactful role. We offer a salary of £65,000 plus benefits, negotiable for the right candidate, and the role is based in Hertfordshire. The position is office-based five days a week for the first few months, then moves to a hybrid pattern of three days in the office and two days from home.
