Job Description
* Work closely with our Machine shop team to improve process flow and NPI
* Drive production efficiency and quality through process improvements and lean manufacturing principles.
* Implement new technologies and equipment to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and develop effective solutions.
* Prepare and present technical reports to inform management and stakeholders on production progress and challenges.
* Develop and manage project budgets and timelines to ensure targets are met.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the manufacturing environment.
* Provide technical training and guidance to production staff.
* Participate in continuous professional development activities to stay abreast of industry trends and advancements.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Manufacturing Engineer should have:
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience in a similar role within the Industrial / Manufacturing sector.
* Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement techniques.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
* Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* A solid understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
