Offer description

At Clarendon Fine Art, we bring art to life. With 90 galleries across the UK, US, and at Sea, we’ve built the world’s largest gallery group through passion and entrepreneurial spirit.

We are seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic individual to support our growing retail division. Reporting to the Head of Retail Operations, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative retail environment and enjoys turning information into clear, impactful communication.

Based at our head office in Lichfield you will be responsible for delivering accurate, engaging, sales-focused communications that support galleries and commercial activity across the business. Working closely with Retail, Marketing, and Leadership teams, you will ensure messaging is timely, consistent, and effective, while also acting as a key day-to-day support for retail teams.

The Role

1. Create and deliver clear, sales-focused communications to support artist campaigns, product launches, events, and day-to-day retail operations
2. Communicate processes, policies, and business updates clearly to keep teams informed, confident, and compliant
3. Manage and maintain retail and business communications on the company intranet, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and consistency
4. Work with the intranet provider to improve platform use, structure, and engagement
5. Track engagement and performance metrics, using insights to improve communication effectiveness
6. Write confidently about artwork, exhibitions, and gallery activity, using appropriate creative and commercial language for retail teams
7. Plan and schedule communications to align with and support sales activity
8. Create and deliver training content for artists, events, and campaigns via Microsoft Teams, recorded video, and podcasts
9. Produce clear documentation and guidance using Word, Excel, and Canva (or similar tools)
10. Act as the main point of contact for retail communications, responding to queries and providing day-to-day support and problem resolution
11. Support retail improvement projects across the gallery network
12. Work closely with Marketing and Leadership to ensure messaging is aligned, accurate, and on-brand
13. Provide administrative support to ensure smooth retail operations
14. Support galleries at events and exhibitions across the UK, including occasional evenings and weekends
