Arcus FM are currently recruiting a Resident M&E Engineer to join our dedicated on-site team at our client’s facility in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional looking to work in a technically varied, customer-facing role.

2. 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays

What You'll Be Doing


About the role:

As a Resident Engineer you will be our clients first point of contact on-site, being responsible for delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and general building services support.

Tasks include:

5. Emergency lighting & lamp changes
6. Electrical & fire alarm testing
7. Fault finding and repairs (mechanical and electrical)
8. Minor plumbing and fabric maintenance
9. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
10. Delivering excellent service to our clients

You’ll work independently with the support of a wider team, helping to ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant facility.


What We're Looking For


What you’ll need

Essential:

11. 18th Edition or HVAC experience
12. Hands-on experience in an M&E or multi-skilled engineering role
13. Strong communication and organisational skills
14. Health & Safety awareness

Desirable:

15. Experience with delivering PPM
16. F-Gas qualification
17. IOSH Working Safely
18. Basic plumbing and fabric maintenance experience
19. 2391 Testing & Inspection

Additional info:

20. The role will involve working 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday (including bank holidays)
21. 5 days on, 2 days off - Rotating shift pattern
22. On-call rota: 1 in every 4 weeks
