Your new companyYou will be joining a public sector organisation focused on environmental management, sustainability, and the maintenance of green infrastructure across the county.Your new roleYou will work as a Tree Officer, providing professional forestry and arboricultural advice, carrying out tree inspections, supporting planting initiatives, and assisting with the management and maintenance of trees and woodland areas. The role involves preparing reports, supervising contractors, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and health and safety standards.What you'll need to succeed
What you'll get in returnYou will need a relevant arboriculture or forestry qualification (Level 3-4), with practical experience in tree management and inspections. Strong knowledge of tree biology, pests, diseases, and industry best practices is essential. You should have excellent communication skills, good IT ability, and experience producing reports and specifications.
