About The Role Key Responsibilities; Oversee the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring all vehicle repairs are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Allocate tasks to technicians based on skill level, job complexity, and priority, ensuring optimal use of resources and timely completion. Collaborate closely with estimators, parts staff, and front-of-house personnel to maintain accurate job tracking and provide timely updates to customers. Monitor repair quality, turnaround times, and workflow efficiency to meet company targets and customer expectations. Lead, support, and develop the workshop team by fostering a positive, productive environment and encouraging continuous improvement. Promote a strong health and safety culture, ensuring full compliance with legal regulations, manufacturer standards, and internal policies. Utilise workshop management systems and tools to streamline operations, track performance, and identify areas for improvement. Required Criteria A minimum of 2 years proven experience as a Workshop Controller, Foreman, or similar role within a bodyshop or accident repair environment Strong leadership and communication skills Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities A good understanding of modern repair methods, estimating systems, and workflow management Skills Needed Problem Solving, Communication, Teamwork, Bodyshop Repairs Salary Not disclosed Skills: Problem Solving Communication Teamwork Bodyshop Repairs Benefits: Vacation, Paid time off Retirement plan and/or pension Flexible schedule Competitive salary
