About the role
We have a new opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join our Cambridge team. The office was established to provide local project support and has expertise mainly in complex sectors like Science, Research, and Healthcare.

As an Engineer, you will be responsible for the design delivery of complex projects, liaising with team members and taking ownership of tasks. You will develop effective relationships with professionals to foster future business growth.
In this role, you can expect to:
1. Provide detailed, coordinated, and cost-efficient electrical design advice to diverse clients.
2. Create specifications, calculations, and reports tailored to project needs.
3. Design electrical systems using the latest software tools.
4. Ensure technical excellence in your work, whether independently or as part of a team.

6. Produce clear calculations, reports, and specifications.
7. Attend client meetings and site inspections.

About you
To succeed, you should have:
* Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer or in a related role, with a track record in complex projects.
* Experience with modern delivery processes and software such as BIM, Revit, Electrical OM, Dialux, and Relux.
* Experience collaborating with clients, contractors, and architects in a design or consultancy capacity.
* Self-awareness, openness, and a collaborative spirit.
* Experience supporting others' development in skills and confidence.
