Relief Support Workers
£12.60 per hour
Forth Valley service supports people in Grangemouth and Alloa.
Grangemouth Care Home: Has been established since 1990 and we provide long term care to people with learning disabilities. The service is an 8 bedded facility over two floors and located in a rural community.
Grangemouth Outreach Service: Supports 11 people. We support people in their individual homes. Support needs within the service range from 24 hour a day support with those who require support with personal care to those who just need help with finances, shopping and social activities.
Alloa HMO: Supports 8 people who live together in an HMO (House of multiple occupants) they have their own rooms but share other facilities such as kitchen and bathrooms.
Alloa Outreach: We currently support people in their own homes around the Clackmannanshire area. The supported people have a range of disabilities and ages.
Your main duties will include but not be limited to:
1. Working with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable people.
2. Communicate and work well with our supported people to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
3. Being responsible in supporting individuals throughout the activities, giving positive feedback and encouragement.
4. Updating and maintaining accurate records using a tablet on Arks Information Management system.

What is a Relief Support Worker?
As a Relief Support Worker you will carry out all the same duties while on shift as our Support Workers. As you do not have contracted hours it gives you the flexibility to only pick up shifts when it suits you.*
*Please note: Relief work is on an as and when basis to cover for sickness absence, study leave and other staff contingencies. We cannot guarantee you regular or continued use as the need for relief staffing changes from time to time.
