This is a full-time, on-site role for a Vehicle Repair Handler based in Stockport. As a Vehicle Repair Handler, you will manage vehicle repair cases from start to finish. This includes receiving new repair instructions, liaising directly with customers, deploying work to our repair network, and monitoring each repair through to completion.
You will be responsible for ensuring the correct repairer is selected for each job based on vehicle type, repair requirements, and repairer capacity. You will maintain regular communication with customers, repairers, hire providers, and work providers to ensure all parties are kept informed throughout the repair process.
The role requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple live repairs at different stages, ensuring timescales are met and customers remain satisfied with the service provided.
Experience and Skills
* Experience in motor claims, accident repair, or a similar automotive environment is required
* Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with customers and suppliers
* Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple live cases
* Sound understanding of vehicle repair processes
* Comfortable using systems and software to manage cases and documentation
* Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
