Aspire People are currently recruiting for passionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistants to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience working in a variety of schools across the region, supporting children with diverse learning needs.
Role Details
* Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
* Type: Supply (Day-to-day & Long-term cover)
* Location: Various schools across the region
* Contract: Temporary with some potential to transition into permanent positions
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with Special Educational Needs
* Assist with classroom activities and help deliver tailored learning plans
* Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development
* Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure a positive learning environment
What We Are Looking For
* Previous experience working with children, ideally within an SEN setting
* A passion for working with students who have additional needs
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
* A patient and compassionate approach to supporting students
