Quality Compliance Manager
We are currently partnering with a successful and growing international food manufacturing business to recruit a Quality Compliance Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced quality professional to take ownership of compliance, food safety, and quality systems while leading and developing a high-performing QC team.
Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, you will take ownership of quality systems, lead a small team, and champion a positive food safety culture throughout the operation.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all quality compliance and food safety activities across site
* Develop and mentor a QC team of 6, driving performance and engagement
* Manage internal audits, GMP audits, and hygiene audits
* Oversee QHSE systems, action logs, and compliance deadlines
* Handle customer complaints, including root cause analysis and CAPA
* Manage non-conformance processes and ensure timely close-out
* Monitor microbiological trends and implement preventative actions
* Ensure pest control and calibration processes meet required standards
* Coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) ensuring compliance
* Maintain and improve quality documentation and systems
* Drive a strong food safety culture across the site
Quality Compliance Manager Skills
* Proven experience in food manufacturing quality management
* Strong knowledge of BRC / BRCGS, HACCP, GMP, QHSE
* Experience with internal audits and compliance systems
* Skilled in root cause analysis, CAPA, and non-conformance management
* Strong leadership experience – team management & coaching
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management ability
* Hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset
