An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Capability Lead to lead a Training Design and Delivery team of instructional designers, developers, and training professionals. You will shape the strategy, implementation, and continual improvement of training programmes at Rolls-Royce Submarines and beyond.
This leadership role is ideal for someone passionate about developing people, understanding instructional design methodologies, and managing technical and regulated environment projects.

Role Overview
* Lead and manage a team of instructional designers, content developers, and trainers, overseeing resource allocation and performance development.
* Manage the full lifecycle of nuclear product training from needs analysis to delivery and evaluation.
* Coordinate project plans, stakeholder communication, and requirements management.
* Support learning governance including compliance, records, audits, and impact reporting.
* Stay updated on learning technologies and methodologies to enhance training effectiveness.
* Represent Rolls-Royce at various meetings as deputy for the Training Manager.
Candidate Profile
* Proven leadership and management experience in learning and development or related fields.
* Knowledge of instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and evaluation frameworks (e.g., Kirkpatrick).
* Experience in developing diverse training formats (classroom, eLearning, blended).
* Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
* Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Engineering, or related discipline.
