Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Graduate Regulatory Assistant to join The Cosmetic Regulator for 6 months on a fixed-term contract basis to support some special projects in the business. The successful candidate will support the Managing Director in ensuring compliance with all relevant cosmetic regulations and standards, contributing to the safe and effective development and marketing of cosmetic products.
Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance:
* Assist in the preparation, compilation, and submission of regulatory documents and PIFs to ensure compliance with local, regional, and international cosmetic regulations.
* Monitor changes in cosmetic regulations and standards, and update internal teams and documentation accordingly.
* Arrange product testing and work with network of suppliers to meet client needs
Documentation and Data Management:
* Manage and organise regulatory documentation, ensuring all records and systems are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
* Prepare and maintain product information files (PIF), and international dossiers for cosmetic products.
Product Labelling and Claims:
* Assist with the review of product labels, packaging, and marketing materials to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Communication and Coordination:
* Assist senior members of the team with administrative tasks
* Liaise with client’s internal teams and manufacturers to gather necessary information and support product development
Qualifications:
Education:
* BSc or MSc Cosmetic Science
Experience:
* Desirable, not necessary
Skills:
* Good understanding of cosmetic regulations and standards (e.g., EU Cosmetics Regulation, FDA regulations, etc.).
* Awareness of ROW regulations e.g. China, Middle East, APAC
* Willingness to learn and take initiative to improve processes and build efficiencies
* Excellent organisational and documentation skills.
* Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Confident presentation skills and ability to work with others.
* Proficiency in Google Suite.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
* Ability to manage, handle and organise large amounts of confidential data.
