Delivery Postie with Driving
Job reference: 337348 | Location: Motherwell Delivery Office, ML1 1AA | Job type: Permanent contract | Hours: 28 hours per week, 5 days a week, generally Monday to Sunday 09:00-17:00.
Schedule & Working Hours
Due to operational demands you will work Monday to Saturday, 10:10–15:50 (five days out of six). Sunday work is also required, with a minimum of one Sunday per month from 09:00–17:00 on an overtime basis.
Responsibilities
Your main tasks will be delivering postal items, parcels and other items for customers across the local community, regardless of weather. You will maintain accurate records, deliver within time windows, drive safely and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications
* Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
* Organised, punctual and ready to deliver great customer service.
* People‑person, friendly face in the community.
* Happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather.
* Strong sense of community and takes pride in work.
* Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
