Dr Comiskey and Partners is a twin site GP Practice with branches based in Portobello and Conan Doyle Medical Centre at Cameron Toll. Our clinical team comprises of 7 GP Partners, 4 Salaried GPs, 1 full time and 5 part time Practice Nurses, 2 part-time Phlebotomists and a Practice Pharmacist.
We are a training Practice offering high quality care to a diverse population of approx. 12,000 patients. We have a good reputation within our localities. We have enjoyed stability within our Nursing team for many years and are now looking for a new Practice Nurse. They will be expected to be an active and enthusiastic participant in the team, helping it to embrace the future as other team members contemplate retirement. Our senior PNs are always involved with the GPs in decision-making around services for the Practice.
We seek a Practice Nurse, preferably with experience. A knowledge of diabetes will be particularly welcomed. We offer all long-term condition management and a full range of contraceptive services. Autonomous practice is actively supported. We are flexible with hours; part-time or full-time, to be negotiated. Further training will be offered where required.
Our IT system is Vision.
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
