Job Overview:
Our client is looking for an IT Business Analyst to join their team. The role involves a focus on identifying opportunities for innovation, optimising processes, and ensuring the successful implementation of technology-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Partner with the IT Director to assess and enhance the firm’s legal services through technological advancements and process improvements.
2. Develop and present comprehensive project plans to the Strategy Board, outlining objectives, scope, timelines, and resource needs.
3. Conduct in-depth research and analysis to support project proposals and strategic recommendations.
4. Lead and oversee project initiatives, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon processes and timelines.
5. Track project progress and provide regular status updates to the IT Director.
6. Work collaboratively with the Development, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to design, configure, and deploy necessary systems and tools.
7. Coordinate with the training team to organize workshops and training sessions, ensuring a smooth transition to new technologies and processes.
8. Assess the effectiveness of implemented projects, reporting on outcomes and applying lessons learned to future initiatives.
Person Specification:
1. Proven experience as a Business Analyst within professional services.
2. A successful track record in delivering internal consultancy projects.
3. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Demonstrated experience in business process optimization and technology implementation.
8. A results-driven mindset with accountability for project outcomes.
