The Role
As our Registered Night Nurse, you will be a reassuring presence throughout the night, leading our care team and ensuring residents feel safe, comfortable, and well-cared for. This is a role where your kindness, clinical expertise, and leadership will shine.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support the care team overnight, creating a calm and nurturing environment.
* Put residents' wishes, dignity, and individuality at the heart of everything you do.
* Develop, review, and adapt person-centred care plans.
* Administer medication safely and in line with NMC guidelines.
* Work closely with residents and their families, listening and involving them in care decisions.
* Provide hands-on care and reassurance, making sure residents feel valued and supported.
* Mentor and guide care staff, encouraging growth and confidence.
* Keep accurate records and contribute to care planning and reviews.
About You
* Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.
* A natural leader with a kind, approachable manner.
* Experience in a care home or similar setting is an advantage.
* Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
* Committed to going the extra mile to make residents feel safe, comfortable, and respected.
