We are looking for a PR Specialist to play a vital role in driving awareness and excitement for Rebellion’s video game titles, with a particular focus on the launch of our brand‑new IP, Alien Deathstorm, across specialist press and media.
This role is based at our riverside headquarters in Oxford.
Responsibilities
* Own and manage Rebellion's communications strategy to generate brand awareness and growth in alignment with company strategic direction and goals.
* Update and deliver various marketing and development information through owned media as well as via external PR agencies and automated systems.
* Manage relationships with all external PR partners, including agencies, distribution partner PR teams and Rebellion’s existing contact database.
* Develop regular interface with other PR practitioners in wider Rebellion business, such as Film/TV, Unplugged & Publishing.
* Continuously look for ways to positively engage and grow Rebellion’s public profile via specialist and lifestyle press activations.
* Create and manage processes to track and keep monitored each communication activation making sure our qualitative and quantitative objectives are always properly met.
* Forge strong and trusted relationships with key press and media within Rebellion’s gaming genres and wider to encourage friendly, constructive interactions.
* Work alongside Product Marketing and Community to ensure PR & Communications initiatives are primed, timed and apt to our audiences.
Requirements
* Excellent knowledge of current games press and trends.
* Agency management experience.
* PR administration and excellent written communication skills.
* Previous PR experience in the games industry.
* Tactics to build positive stories and activations with games press.
* Budget management.
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Can manage time and work under pressure to tight deadlines at all levels.
