About the Role As a Payroll Administrator, you will support the Payroll Manager in delivering accurate and compliant payroll services for employees across the UK and Europe. You'll gain exposure to complex payroll structures, international regulations, subcontractor schemes, and high-volume environments - all while being supported and trained by an experienced team. This role offers a strong platform for career progression within payroll, finance, or wider operations. Key Responsibilities Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll for multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with PAYE, NI, pensions, and statutory regulations. Manage subcontractor processes including orders, invoice allocation, and RCT/CIS payments. Maintain accurate employee records, process new starters and leavers, and complete statutory submissions (P45, P60, RTI). Support the finance team with aged creditor analysis, accruals, and year-end procedures. Respond to payroll queries, ensure high-quality data entry, and work collaboratively with internal departments. Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience in payroll, ideally with exposure to UK legislation (practice or industry backgrounds welcome). Strong organisational ability with experience managing multiple deadlines and processes simultaneously. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros) and strong general IT proficiency. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure. Proactive, adaptable, and open to learning and developing new ways of working. Why Join? ?
