Job Description
A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled and motivated Band 6 MRI Radiographer to join a well-established imaging department in Manchester. This position is ideal for a radiographer with a strong foundation in MRI scanning who is looking to contribute to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support our client’s patients, ensuring accurate and timely imaging in a patient-centred environment.
Responsibilities
* Perform a wide range of MRI examinations using advanced imaging systems, including Siemens Aera, Siemens Viato, and GE Signa.
* Prepare and position patients, operate MRI equipment safely and effectively, and ensure high standards of image quality.
* Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and patient care.
* Maintain up-to-date records, adhere to safety protocols, and contribute to a supportive and efficient working environment.
* Experience in paediatric imaging is desirable.
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree or Diploma in Radiography
* Registration with the HCPC
* Minimum of 6 months’ experience working at Band 5 in MRI
* Proficient in Siemens Aera, Siemens Viato, and GE Signa systems
* Experience in paediatric MRI is desirable
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Commitment to patient care and safety
