Job Description
You'll work closely with commercial and senior management teams, providing financial insight, analysis and support across a range of client projects and business activities.You will also:
3. Own month end, preparing journals, reconciliations and balance sheet reviews
4. Providing management reporting and commercial finance support to operational stakeholders
5. Reviews of customer contracts and commercial agreements
6. Monitoring project profitability and analysing WIP
7. Supporting monthly revenue recognition and forecasting processes
8. Approving purchase orders, invoices and project-related costs
9. Supporting sales invoicing and working capital management
10. Assisting with budgeting and re forecasting
11. Supporting with audit requirements
The Successful Applicant
My client are looking for a commercially minded accountant who doesn't mind getting hands on with month end but also enjoys building relationships across multiple disciplines and can influence decisions wellYou will ideally have:
12. ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualification or qualified by relevant experience
13. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
14. The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
15. Strong commercial awareness and analytical capability
16. A proactive and collaborative approach
17. Experience working in a project-led environment is desirable but not essential
