Are you passionate about nursing and want to make a change to patient care? Then we have a job for you. We currently have a 9-month fixed term vacancy for the position of Staff Nurse within our team on King George V Ward at North Devon District Hospital.

We are a busy bedded emergency surgical assessment unit caring for emergency admissions in the specialities of colorectal, upper GI, urology and gynaecology including early pregnancy complications. Within the ward we have a separate ambulatory assessment unit, taking admissions from the emergency department and GP referrals and a surgical emergency outpatient clinic and our staff work within all of these areas. As a team, we strive for excellence in everything that we do; incorporating the 6 Cs in our nursing.

Previous gynaecology experience in assessment units is preferable but not essential. A current and valid NMC registration is required for this nursing post.

All posts include a commitment to work days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays as necessary to meet the needs of the service. Full time hours available.
