Overview
Our Home First & Reablement service supports people return home after a stay in hospital. This helps them continue their recovery in their own surroundings – regaining their ability to live as independently as possible. We are expanding to continue to provide quality care and support and we are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who want to work with people in their communities. We are recruiting Rehabilitation Assistants in Gloucester. There are 4 posts: 2 part time (4 on 4 off evenings 5-10pm) and 2 full time posts (8am - 1.30pm and 5-10pm), 4 on 4 off split shift. This post is to cover the hours of 7:00-22:00 split shift on a 4 day on, 4 day off shift pattern.
Responsibilities
As a Rehabilitation Assistant, you will work closely with other health care professionals, delivering essential clinical and personal care. You will ensure that service user needs are met and assist the team in maintaining high standards of care delivery.
Requirements and Development
If you are new to care and hold no experience in healthcare, we offer a development opportunity with a structured plan (including achieving the Care Certificate). You will progress from a pay band 2 to pay band 3 on achievement of the Care Certification. Our service runs 24/7 and all Rehabilitation Assistant roles offer core hours of 07:00-22:00.
Role Details
This role is locality based, visiting people in their homes; it is essential that all applicants have a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
