Meraki Talent are currently recruiting a Finance Assistant to join one of our clients based in Glasgow City Centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in finance principles, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, and expense tracking.
* Prepare and maintain financial documents such as invoices, bills, and bank statements.
* Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
* Support the finance team in various ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
* Previous experience in a finance-related role is preferred but not required.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
