Job Overview
We’re looking for a creative videographer with sharp video editing skills and a keen eye for design. This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes social media, thrives in fast-paced environments, and knows how to both shoot and edit videos that truly stand out. You’ll be capturing and crafting content across social platforms, our website, in-store, OOH, and more - bringing brand stories to life with energy and precision.
Key Responsibilities
* Videography - Plan, shoot and capture high-quality, engaging video content - focused on beauty products, swatches, textures and creative close-ups for social ads and digital campaigns. You’ll be proactive in creating a steady stream of fresh, on-brand content that showcases products in visually compelling ways, ensuring all footage is sharp, polished and fit for purpose.
* Video Editing - Edit and assemble compelling videos with a focus on scroll-stopping short-form content. Add graphics, sound and light motion where it enhances the story. Confident with colour grading and camera matching to ensure a polished, cohesive look across assets.
* Content Creation - Develop paid ads (Meta, TikTok, etc), OOH videos, social and e-comm product videos, working closely with the creative team to ensure everything is on-brand, impactful and high-performing.
* Design-led storytelling - Bring a sharp eye for typography, layout and visual design to every edit. You’ll ensure text placement, pacing and graphic elements support the story seamlessly.
* Social-first thinking - Collaborate with the performance and social teams to test creative hooks, iterate quickly based on performance data, and help refine what’s working (and what isn’t). You’ll be confident pitching new creative angles informed by insights.
* Creative collaboration - Participate in brainstorms with the broader creative and marketing teams, pitching fresh ideas, helping develop briefs and contributing to concepting for shoots and campaigns.
* UGC & creator content - Help scale our user-generated content (UGC) production by working with our UGC & Community Manager and Social Execs to streamline submissions and spotlight the best content.
* Content library - Keep the UKLASH content library dynamic by repurposing existing footage and experimenting with new storytelling formats.
* Project management - Stay organised across multiple projects, consistently meeting deadlines while keeping workflows slick and files immaculately managed.
About you:
* 4+ years’ experience shooting and editing video, ideally in the beauty industry (skincare, cosmetics, etc).
* Proven ability to create product-focused ads, with experience crafting high-performing social content (TikTok, Meta & Snap).
* Proficient in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop/Illustrator for video and graphic editing.
* Skilled in shooting product close-ups, textures, and swatches with a polished, premium look.
* Strong understanding of paid social ad performance: optimising for but not limited to KPIs such as CTR, CPA, ROAS, and iterating quickly.
* Proactive with the ability to manage projects independently, from concept to final edit.
* Well-organised, with excellent file management and a collaborative, positive attitude.
