Contract: 33.25 hours per week / 39 weeks per year. Start date: ASAP.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Teaching Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing critical support to teachers in fostering the development and education of young people. The successful candidate will assist with planning, preparing, and delivering work programs for individuals and groups, monitor and evaluate student progress, and provide tailored interventions to meet pupils' needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Support teachers in delivering the curriculum and supervising classes when required.
* Plan, organise, and evaluate activities and interventions.
* Provide specialised support for students\' personal care, independence, and inclusion.
* Maintain accurate records, report progress, and adhere to safeguarding policies.
Qualifications and Skills
* Minimum of 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above (including English and Maths) or equivalent.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., first aid, behaviour management) are advantageous.
* Proficiency in IT tools and excellent communication skills.
* Ability to guide less experienced colleagues and work collaboratively in a team.
* Prior experience in an educational or similar environment.
